50 Voices for Endangered Species is made up of a general Council and several subcommittees, including the Executive Committee, Communications & Recruitment Subcommittee, Research Subcommittee, Agency Liaison Subcommittee, Training & Education Subcommittee, Defense of the ESA Subcommittee, and the Advisory Board Subcommittee. Members participate in this group voluntarily.
Members will:
Collaborate in good-faith to understand one another, learn together, and develop solutions that can be collectively supported
Self-determine the group identity
Be present and productive during our limited time together
Respect individual goals and barriers
Seek outcomes that reflect the diverse goals of the group
Seek diverse incentives for participation, including for those in vulnerable career stages (e.g., outputs that help career advancement)

Represent the intention of the group when engaging with the public and decision makers
Ex officio participants may include representation from the Fish & Wildlife Service, Environmental Protection Agency, National Park Service, Tribal governments, congressional staffers, state fish & wildlife agencies, and parties not able to participate in a more formal capacity. Ex officio participants are not official members and do not vote on decisions. Ex officio participants may:
Attend meetings as appropriate
Provide technical assistance as needed
Provide legal/policy context as needed
Highlight opportunities to coordinate activities and outputs across agencies and organizations
